This Is the Pulse of Entertainers Life.  I wrote that I recently read, several times actually, Jay Shetty’s “Think Like a Monk” and just fell in love with its practical wisdom that I can use in everyday life. I found that this isn’t a book you read once—it’s a guide you keep coming back to, especially when life throws challenges your way.

My favorite part? The chapter on Dharma. It hit home, especially as an entertainer. I must confess I wish I had this information when I was younger. Being an artist is all about living, sharing, and loving your craft—that’s your Dharma. Yes, I wrote loving, before honing, because it is the love that keeps you going.

Shetty understands the struggles we face, like balancing family expectations, friends not getting our passion, or the guilt that sometimes comes with chasing our dreams. Not to mention the rejection we face when we put ourselves out there.  His ancient yet totally relatable advice reminds us to embrace who we are, unapologetically.
